Time Test’s winning start with his oldest crop NH 2YO’s is quickly graduating to black-type performances with his latest stakes runner Sunset Shiraz (Time Test-Sunny Again by Shirocco), who despite been posted wide throughout, producing a stirring finish for second in the 7 furlong Group 2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh in Ireland on Saturday.
Similar to the profile of Time Test’s debut stakes winner Tardis, Sunset Shiraz has been a consistent and improving type of filly, who had run second and fourth in her two career starts prior to Saturday’s Group 2 placing.
Time Test has five individual winners to date including the Listed 5 furlong winner Tardis, Group 2 runner-up Sunset Shiraz and Group 3 place getter The King’s Horses. This gives Time Test a runner to stakes performer ratio of 16.4%.
