Hong Kong Group 2 Winner For Nadeem

Sterling City (Nadeem-So Gorgeous by Brief Truce) pictured left, made it consecutive group wins with his latest success in the 1200m Gr.2 HKJC Premier Bowl on Sunday and in the process well and truly staking his claim as the most improved Pattern company galloper in Hong Kong. Henow heads to the Hong Kong International Sprint.

A three length win in the Gr.2 Vase at Moonee Valley in Melbourne on Saturday has seen the LA bred Savvy Nature (Savabeel-Generous Nature) move to joint favourite alongside the Darley owned Complacent for this Saturday’s Gr.1 Victoria Derby.

Traditionally the Vase has been the best guide to the Derby and a win in the time honoured classic would give the John O’Shea trained gelding the trifecta of group wins at all three classification levels this preparation.

Savvy Nature who was bred by LA in partnership with Storm Thoroughbreds, ABP Enterprises Ltd and Angus Taylor Family Trust, was sold at last year’s Karaka Ready to Run Sale from the Lyndhurst Farm draft, who will offer two lots on our behalf at next month’s sale: LOT 10 is a Pentire gelding closely related to Gr.1 winner Zarita, and LOT 300 a Towkay full brother to last season’s Gr.1 winner and recent listed winner Viadana (Towkay-Yeah Nah).

LA’s Ready to Run offering is completed by LOT 291, a Towkay full brother to the multiple Gr.1 placed Kay’s Awake (Towkay-Wake Up Suzie), who is being prepared by Bradbury Park.

Freakishly our Ready To Run trio all breezed up in the identical time of 10.31 – all running in separate heats.

Excellence, under-pinned by a good public profile that is down to earth and friendly
