Nadeem's Latest Black Type Performers

Monday, 18 March 2019 02:56

This weekend’s Australasian racing has again highlighted Nadeem’s knack of siring black-type performers, the pinnacle of thoroughbred performance.

Nadeem took his tally of stakes performers to 28 after Princeton Spirit’s (Nadeem-Ivy Hall by Towkay) third placing in the Listed (1200m) MVRC Bell Stakes on Friday night at Moonee Valley was followed by another LA bred, the mare Tinkalicious (Nadeem-Tinkermia by Johar), running a similar placing in the Group 3 Cuddle Stakes at Trentham on Saturday.

Nadeem also managed a success on Trentham’s premier card when Pep Torque (Nadeem-Cosmic Flight by Star Way), becoming something of a Trentham specialist, won over 1600m, his third win from his last six starts. Despite very limited representation compared to his local counterparts, Nadeem still manages to sit inside the top 20 on the NZ sires premiership.
