Nadeem Sprinter Remains Unbeaten in Hong Kong

Sunday, 09 June 2019 06:45

It might be overly optimistic to think Snap Fit (Nadeem-Gold Circle by Kilimanjaro) could eventually match the deeds of Nadeems best Hong Kong performer but the 4YO gelding is pretty talented going by his latest Hong Kong win on Thursday which sees him retain a picket fence formline.

A 2YO trial winner at Avondale in December 2017, the Ian Herbert bred gelding is unbeaten in two starts, both over 1000m and ridden on both occasions by Hong Kong’s leading jockey Zac Purton.

Nadeem’s Gr.1 winning international sprinter Sterling City (Nadeem-So Gorgeous by Brief Truce) was trained in Hong Kong where he was a multiple stakes winner.

Snap Fit was actually part of a successful few days for his sire that saw his son Fareeq (Nadeem-Aswa by Haafhd) place at stakes level in South Africa, his third career black-type placing, while another son Arigold (Nadeem-Lassiters Cat by Tale of the Cat) win in Queensland on Saturday.

New Zealand’s best value black-type producing stallion, Nadeem (Redoute’s Choice- Candide by Sound Reason) stands the 2019 breeding season at $5,000 plus GST.
