New Golden Slipper Favourite Spotlights LOT 668 at Karaka

Sunday, 19 January 2020 08:43

Hinchinbrook filly Cellsabeel shot to the top of Golden Slipper markets following a brilliant win in the two-year-old event at Rosehill on Saturday.

Already doing a great job at stud when he passed away prematurely at just 10 years of age in 2018, subsequent events have served to confirm what an even greater loss Hinchinbrook was and LA are privileged to offer on behalf of China Horse Club a filly from his final crop as LOT 668 in Karaka Book 1 next week.

The filly is the second foal of the winning Sebring mare Inside Line, who in turn is a half-sister to the dam of the two-year-old Group 3 winner and $1.4 million earner Flying Jess (Hinchinbrook), making LOT 668 and Flying Jess very closely related.

Hinchinbrook (Fastnet Rock) has been an outstanding sire of fillies, headlined by Group 1 winners Spright and Seabrook, while his popularity received further acknowledgment when he had a $1.15 million yearling sell at the Magic Millions a fortnight ago.

LA sold the dual Group 2 winning three-year-old Global Exchange on behalf of the China Horse Club from its 2017 Karaka Premier draft.
