Per Incanto Continues Strong Start

Monday, 17 November 2014 18:23

Another two impressive winners at last week’s Cambridge trials continue the momentum built by Per Incanto (Street Cry-Pappa Reale by Indian Ridge), arguing well for more solid results for vendors with his stock at the National Ready to Run Sale at Karaka this week.

An unnamed colt from Sound Lover won his 650m heat in the fastest time of the morning, spreading his opponents out like brown’s cows with a staggering 15 lengths to the third horse.  The LA bred colt was bought from our 2014 Karaka Premier draft by Michael Wallace.

An impressive trial winner at Waipa in October, Rocanto (Per Incanto-Romantic Liaisons by King of Kings) again had the commentator lauding his ability when successful in his 800m event in the fastest time of the day. Bred by Justice Lowell Goddard, the colt was sold from our 2013 Karaka Weanling Sale draft.

Per Incanto has nine entries at the Ready To Run Sale including the colt from Towkay mare Double Okay who has the equal third fastest breeze-up time. Click on any of the below to see the LA Breeze Up's for the Ready To Run Sales consigned by Lyndhurst Farm, Diamond Lodge and Beatson Stables

Nadeem (Redoute’s Choice – Candide by Sound Reason) has had a spectacular last month with 15 winners. On Sunday’s Singapore Gold Cup card his promising three-year-old Spanish Bay (Nadeem – Belle Jest by Rory’s Jester) scored a dominant win in a $75,000 event over 1400m, while later in the evening Bale Star (Nadeem – Thanksgiving by Generous) resumed following a six month break to take $100,000 Charity Stakes.

The LA bred Rivertaine Coup (Pins-Rivertaine by Centaine) made up for some recent bad luck when she took out a $40,000 1200m event at Riccarton on Cup day. Bought from our 2012 Karaka Premier draft for $80,000, the four-year-old mare’s latest win is her fourth in 13 starts for her owners the Coupland family.

They cover all bases and do everything with pride and passion, be it raising their horses, to their staffs attire, to the way they treat clients and visitors
