Per Incanto enjoyed early success in his stallion career and the Group-winning son of Street Cry, sire of the champion mare Winx, has subsequently gone onto establish himself as one of New Zealand’s elite sires.

Per Incanto’s racetrack results together with the quality of individual he leaves has seen ensured continuing popularity in the sale ring.

He continues to be a regular source of winners at the highest grade across the racetracks of Australasia and Asia.
From modest beginnings, his service fee was first set at $4000, Per Incanto rose to be champion first season sire by winners and runner-up in the 2YO premiership in 2014-15. A year later he was crowned champion 3YO sire by winners and champion second season sire by winners, defeating the decorated Savabeel for the former title.

Per Incanto’s sales returns in 2026 also make impressive reading, at the Sydney Easter Yearling Sale he averaged $451,000 and across all sales his 32 yearlings averaged more than $200,000.

Bearing a close physical resemblance to his sire Street Cry, Per Incanto stands 16.1 hands and is an imposing individual. He combines good looks, class, athleticism, and a kind temperament and stamps his progeny with those attributes.

With such an impressive line-up of existing racing talent and the produce of substantially upgraded books of mares still to come, the bar for Per Incanto is anyone's guess.

With progeny earnings in excess of NZ$81 million, he boasts an impressive career winners to runners percentage above 66% and 5% stakes winners to runners. In Asia, he boasts an 80% winning strike rate.
